Azerbaijani journalists on a visit to Uzbekistan have toured the historic “Ulli-Hovli” complex located in the Urgench district of the Khorezm region, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Khiva reports.
The 17th-century site was originally built to protect caravan routes and now functions as a cultural and tourism center.
During the visit, journalists familiarized themselves with the handicraft workshops located within the complex, as well as facilities for concerts, folklore events, and horse and camel rides for tourists.
The visit aims to enable media representatives to assess the region’s historical and cultural heritage, tourism infrastructure, and prospects for cultural exchange between the two countries.
It should be noted that the trip was organized within the framework of the “Roadmap for the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Media between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.” The project envisions mutual experience and information exchange in the media sphere, as well as studying advanced approaches to media management practices.
