On September 29, 2025, the Chairman of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ismat Sattarov, met with the Uzbek delegation visiting the country to participate in the II Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum, the Audiovisual Council told APA.
Ismat Sattarov expressed his satisfaction with the holding of the II Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum on the topic of "Digital Transformation and Media" in Azerbaijan, and emphasized that such events are of great importance for further strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries.
Touching on the importance of the "Road Map" for the development of cooperation in the media field between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chairman of the Audiovisual Council said that cooperation between Azerbaijani and Uzbek media organizations, including broadcasters, is developing rapidly.
The head of the Uzbek delegation, Head of the Communication Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilshod Saidzhanov, expressed his satisfaction with the current state of strategic partnership relations between the two countries. Noting that there is a wide potential for the implementation of joint projects in the media sector, Dilshod Saidjanov said that mutual visits, exchange of information and experience play a very important role in deepening relations.
The meeting continued with a discussion of other issues of mutual interest.
