On September 29, a meeting was held at the Media Development Agency (MEDIA) with the Uzbek delegation, which was visiting our country to participate in the II Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum, Media Development Agency told APA.
At the meeting, the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Ahmad Ismayilov, spoke about the implementation of the issues arising from the “Roadmap” for the development of cooperation in the media sector between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, and noted that relations between the two countries are developing successfully in various fields, including the media sphere. He noted that mutual exchange of experience and information, organization of joint projects, as well as initiatives aimed at the development of professional personnel serve to elevate cooperation to a new stage.
The head of the Uzbek delegation, Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Dilshod Saidzhanov, noted that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has also yielded significant results in the field of media development, and stressed the importance of intensifying information exchange and implementing joint media projects. He noted that traditional media forums are of particular importance in terms of identifying new opportunities for cooperation in the media sector of the two brotherly countries and jointly planning future goals.
