A new requirement will be introduced regarding photo, video and audio materials created using artificial intelligence, APA reports.
This is reflected in the proposed new Article 13-2.7 of the Law “On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information,” which was submitted for discussion at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the draft, when photo, video or audio materials created using artificial intelligence technologies are publicly displayed, they must include clear and easily visible labeling indicating that they were produced using such technologies.
According to the proposed new Article 388-3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, a fine ranging from 80 to 150 manats will be imposed for the dissemination of photo, video, or audio materials in the media, on internet information resources, or through information and telecommunications networks without clear and easily visible labeling indicating that they were created using artificial intelligence technologies, despite knowing that such materials were produced using these technologies.
“Labeling” refers to visual, audio, or text-based markings automatically generated by the artificial intelligence technologies used to create photo, video, or audio materials, as well as markings added to such materials.
After discussions, the draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
