"There is a need for solidarity among journalists from all over the Turkic world to convey the truth about our countries to the international audience," Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, said at the Turkic States Forum on Combating Disinformation held in Ankara under the organization of the Communications Directorate, APA's correspondent dispatched to Ankara reports.
Ahmad Ismayilov said that if media entities fulfill their professional mission properly, the voice of the Turkic world will be heard more strongly at the international level. According to him, it is important to increase the professionalism and vigilance of journalists to correctly cover the real picture of the geography in which the states are located and to provide the international community with objective information.
At the end of his speech, the Executive Director wished the journalists and media representatives participating in the forum success in their activities in this direction.
