The Azerbaijan Karate Federation (AKF) held an event dedicated to the results of 2025, Apasport.az reports.
AKF President Ulvi Guliyev, speaking at the event, noted that last year was marked by significant achievements in the development of karate in Azerbaijan.
He emphasized President Ilham Aliyev’s special attention and support for sports and expressed his gratitude to athletes, coaches, and referees. The federation president also expressed confidence that they will continue to represent Azerbaijan successfully on the international stage.
During the event, the Apasport Sports Agency was awarded for its coverage of the federation’s sports activities and support in promoting and popularizing karate.
AKF President Ulvi Guliyev presented an honorary diploma to Rasim Sultanzade, Editor-in-Chief of Apasport Sports Agency.
