It has been 21 years since the establishment of the "Azeri-Press" Agency (APA).
The "Azeri-Press" Agency (APA) LLC was registered with the Ministry of Justice on January 8, 2004, and began operations on November 16 of the same year.
The agency provides news services in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, Persian, and French.
APA covers Azerbaijan’s political, economic, social, cultural, and sports life, as well as regional and global events in its news segments. In addition, APA prepares analytical articles on important socio-political events in the country and around the world.
With a policy of operational, accurate, and impartial reporting, APA collaborates with leading mass media, television channels, electronic broadcasting structures, and press organizations in various countries, exchanging information based on agreements reached.
APA has offices across Azerbaijan and in several foreign countries. To date, many heads of state and government, ministers, and leaders of international organizations within the UN system have granted exclusive interviews to APA.
Within APA, there is a dedicated economic section, “APA-Economics.” Its main goal is to provide readers with timely and objective coverage of important economic developments in Azerbaijan and worldwide. APA-Economics covers the latest news and analysis in areas such as industry and energy, agro-industrial complexes, finance, information and communication technologies, infrastructure, and social sectors. It also provides objective analytical articles and various reviews across different economic sectors.
APA-Economics has introduced the “ranking culture” to Azerbaijan. Rankings of banks, insurance companies, and stock market participants compiled by APA-Economics have always been of interest to readers, and many bank and insurance executives use these rankings as reference sources.
