A “Mother Tongue” award will be established for linguists and media representatives, APA reports.
The proposal of Professor Gulu Maharramli, who came up with this initiative, was approved by ANAS President Isa Habibbeyli.
He stated that the award will be presented on February 21.
Isa Habibbeyli noted that ANAS will establish the Mother Tongue award for linguists, while the Press Council will establish it for media representatives: “The Olympiads will be called the ‘Mother Tongue’ Olympiads. The awards are planned to be presented on February 21.”
