A panel session on artificial intelligence, visual presentations and next-generation experiences was held within the framework of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.
Speaking at the panel, tech blogger Farid Pardashunas said that people are increasingly preferring to obtain news through artificial intelligence.
"People no longer want to use even social media to follow the news agenda. Statistics show that around 10% of users read the news through artificial intelligence," he said.
Farid Pardashunas noted that no matter how advanced artificial intelligence becomes, professions that require human creativity will not disappear completely.
Tech blogger Tariyel Aghazade, who also spoke at the panel, said that artificial intelligence is one of the most important technological innovations of the era.
According to him, false information created with the help of artificial intelligence can sometimes appear highly professional.
"This is already a serious risk. To prevent this, it is important to improve digital literacy. For example, it is possible to deceive people easily by using the logo of a bank. The number of such cases is steadily increasing," Tariyel Aghazade stressed.
Political analyst Gela Vasadze, speaking at the panel, noted that manipulation of public opinion is not a new phenomenon and is not carried out solely through artificial intelligence.
"It is possible to obtain information from various sources. The main issue is to question its source. Artificial intelligence makes our work much easier, but we must also take into account the risks and consequences it may create," Gela Vasadze added.
The panel session continued with a question-and-answer segment.
