Azerbaijan is interested in participating in the events of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States, said Rasim Bagirov, Director of the Department of International Relations and Documentation of Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan, at the 12th meeting of the Working Group on Media and Information of the Organization of Turkic States, APA reports.
He noted that the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is one of the institutions with which Azerbaijan collaborates most closely:
“Joint projects in the media field carried out within the framework of the OTS, institutional cooperation mechanisms, and mutual information exchange make an important contribution to the formation of a unified and sustainable communication space among Turkic-speaking states. The issues on the agenda of the meeting create new opportunities in terms of strengthening information security, coordinating joint efforts in combating disinformation, developing strategic communication skills, and more effectively implementing joint initiatives in the media field.”
