Chairman of National Television and Radio Council: Decisions passed by the Council will be immediately executed

Position of the Council on the activity of international radio stations is known from the first day.
“We want to coordinate current situation on national television and radio broadcasting with international norms. Azerbaijani legislation should be ensured completely in the field of television and radio broadcasting,†he stressed.
To him, the process has started since 2004.
“We have a lot of work. We try to solve the issue legally,†he added.
Chairman of he Council took stance on appeals of a group of women MPs on national values in TV Channels.
“I agree to these opinions. TV Channels should not put their commercial interests to front plan and prefer show programs .TV Channels are obliged to look for such kind of programs because of situation on AD. We will try to improve the situation in this sphere, but we have not right to interfere in creative works of our Channels,†he stressed.
