Ambeyi Ligabo, the Special Rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression is on visit in Baku, UN office in Azerbaijan told APA. The rapporteur met the chairman of National Television and Radio Council Nushiravan Maharramli. The meeting discussed the broadcast of foreign TVs, the situation of market of commercial. Ambeyi Ligabo is to visit Public Television and meet Press Council chief Aflatun Amashov today.
Ambayi Ligabo is to attend international conference on the Role of Media in development of tolerance and mutual understanding.
The UN Envoy is to end his visit on April 28. /APA/
