NTRBC Chairman: â€œIf Azerbaijani TV channels did their work, we wouldnâ€™t raise the issue to this levelâ€

He said after this address the atmosphere in the televisions concerning the national-ethic values changed, but there are still no real results: â€œWe express in the letter our concern over the existing situation to prevent the existing negative tendencies. If this tendency rapidly develops, it will create serious results in the future. We beat an alarm about the possible negative results of the low-level programs aired by the private channels. I consider that our letter to the President will bring good resultsâ€.

Maharramli reminded that main points of their address concern the NTRBCâ€™s direct authorities. â€œWe can not interfere in creative work of the channels, but we required some authorities concerning the programs, which caused fair protest of the public community and disputes because this was a proposal of the society. We want the order is established concerning this issue. We can not leave the issues related to the national-ethic values to be self-willed. If the TV channels did their work, we wouldnâ€™t raise this issue to this levelâ€.
