Work on outline design of buildings to be constructed for journalists in Azerbaijan finished

The additional information will be given on this in the near futureâ€, Head of Azerbaijani State Fund for the Support of Mass Media Development Vugar Safarli told APA.

He said that after complete finish of buildingsâ€™ outline designs the construction work would be started. It is not determined which company will conduct construction work.

Safarli said that the information on the construction of buildings in landslide zone were rumors: â€œIf that area had been a landslide zone, the decision of establishing a small town would not have been passed. SOCAR has about 10 residential buildings thereâ€.

The buildings for the journalists will be built according to the order of Azerbaijani President on measures taken to strengthen the social protection of the Azerbaijani press workers. According to the order, In order to improve the housing-living conditions of the press workers and to build residential buildings for them, funds in the amount of 5.0 million AZN were allocated to the State Fund for the Support of Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as intended in the 2010 FY state budget. The apartments for the journalists will be built in Bibiheybat housing area.
