"Trilateral Working Group on opening transport communications in the South Caucasus has made significant progress on reaching an agreement," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a joint press conference on results of negotiations with Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.
Russian FM has reminded that the Trilateral Working Group including Russian, Azerbaijani, and Armenian Deputy PMs, is dealing with the issues of opening economic, trade, and transport communications in the South Caucasus.
"The Working Group works rhythmically with the commission on delimitation of Azerbaijani-Armenian border. The next contact of the Group has been held recently. The Working Group has made significant progress on reaching an agreement. I hope that agreements will be formed as soon as possible. An especially important point is that the work is not done in a vacuum, not isolated, is conducted in close contact," Lavrov stressed.
