The new composition of the Azerbaijan Press Council's Board of Directors has been formed at the 9th Congress of Azerbaijani journalists, APA reports.
The Board of Directors, formed through voting, consists of 23 members.
The members of the Press Council's Board of Directors elected from among journalists are as follows:
- Hajibey Heydarli – Azxeber.com;
- Orkhan Amashov – AnewZ;
- Saadat Mammadova – ATV;
- Nurshan Guliyev – APA;
- Vugar Rahimzade – Iki Sahil newspaper;
- Elshad Eyvazli – Modern Media Group;
- Seyfaddin Huseynli – 525-ci Gazet;
- Galib Ibrahimoghlu – Bakivaxti.az;
- Farid Shahbazli – Editor.az;
- Elchin Alioghlu – Trend News Agency;
- Anar Tahirov – Bizim.media;
- Vafa Hamzayeva – Real TV;
- Elmira Musayeva – CBC;
- Humbat Musayev – First Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Khalg Gazeti.
The following members were also elected to the Board of Directors:
- Vugar Zifaroghlu – Baku State University, Faculty of Journalism;
- Mushfig Alasgarli – Journalists' Trade Union;
- Amina Yusifgizi – Veteran journalist;
- Bahruz Mammadzade – Special Forces Veterans, Families of Martyrs and Veterans Public Union;
- Ayaz Mirzayev – Azerbaijan Journalists Network Public Union;
- Farid Pardashunas – Technote Media Company;
- Konul Niftaliyeva – Baku State University, Faculty of Journalism;
- Azer Hasrat – Bayraqdar Media;
- Yegana Hajiyeva – Institute of Young Democrats.
