Four people, including three children, have been killed in a shooting at an elementary school in Bend, Oregon, Fox News reports.
The broadcaster cited federal law enforcement sources who confirmed the death toll.
Police said they initially received a report of shots fired at a vehicle near the school. The gunman subsequently entered the school building and opened fire.
Officers arriving at the scene found the attacker dead. Investigators are determining who shot him, with authorities considering the possibility that a bystander opened fire.
Two other people were hospitalised. No information about their condition has been released.
