Presidential representative: Shusha is only city with 100% electric public transport

A complete reconstruction of the street and road network in Shusha is planned for the next 2 years, said Aydin Karimov, the President's Special Representative in Shusha, at the III Azerbaijan National Urban Planning Forum (NUFA3) held in Khankendi, APA-Economics correspondent dispatched to Khankendi reports.

He also noted that Shusha is the only city in the country with 100% electric public transport. Work in this direction is continuing.

A. Karimov added that the construction of all communication lines will be ensured by using a modern engineering network in the city: "This work is already being carried out in parts. The process takes some time because the existing historical monuments and other infrastructure elements in Shusha affect the progress of the work. If we talk about its historical significance, Shusha plays a very big role for Azerbaijanis; it is a special city for everyone. There are historical and very valuable monuments here. We carry out all our work in a planned and systematic manner, carefully."
