The color requirement for vehicles in regular passenger service and passenger transportation by taxi in Azerbaijan has been clarified, it is reflected in the “Requirements for technical characteristics, internal and external design of vehicles used for regular passenger transportation and passenger taxis” approved today by the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
According to the decision, the color of motorized vehicles used in regular inter-city (inter-district) passenger transportation should be white, vehicles used in within the ciry (within the district) passenger transportation should be red, and electric motorized vehicles used in regular inter-city (inter-district) and intra-city (intra-district) passenger transportation should be green. Taxi vehicles should be white or red colored. In accordancew with the transitional provisions, the color requirement will apply to motorized vehicles imported into Azerbaijan or manufactured in the country from July 1, 2024.
