World Bank may approve two new projects in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. By the end of June, 2010, World Bank Board of Directors is expected to approve the implementation of two projects in Azerbaijan, said Mr. Gregory T. JEDRZEJCZAK Country Manager.
According to him, two projects will be presented to World Bank Board of Directors by July 1, one of which is the reconstruction project of highways in Azerbaijan III and the other one is construction of sewage treatment in Hovsan, Baku.
He also noted that the first project is being estimated and World Bank is expected to invest about USD 200 million, while USD 100-150 million for the second one.
