20 000 automobiles production is planned at Nakhchivan Automobile Plant

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. China based Chongqing Lifan Automobile companyâ€™s plant in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is planning to produce 20 000 automobiles annually, said Mou Gang, the president of the company.

Opened on January of the current year, the plant is the fifth overseas enterprise of the company. The company is planning to export the automobiles, produced in that plant to neighboring countries. Together with Lifan 520 and Lifan 620, 4 models are expected to be produced in the plant.

An order of 600 automobiles and order of 400 automobiles from the president of Azerbaijan totaled 1000 have been received, said Mr. Gang.

Lifan 520 will cost USD 10 600.
