Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan’s youngest and fastest growing mobile carrier and the only 3G operator Azerfon (trademark Nar Mobile) has made available 10, 20 and 50 manats worth of payment cards for 3G subscribers.
Azerfon-Vodafone subscribers can also top up their account through ATMs, as well as through on-line payment system on the operator’s website.
Launched commercial operation in 2007, Azerfon services 1.5 million subscribers in 80% of Azerbaijani territory.
Azerfon entered into a non-equity partnership with Vodafone for 3G services in 2009.
It got a 3G license form the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies on December 1, 2009.
