Nissan Qashqai awarded best-ever safety rating - <font color=red>PHOTO </font>

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The European New Car Assessment Program, Euro NCAP, released the best-ever score for adult occupants in its crash-test program since the start more than ten years ago, said Nurgun Motors, Nisaanâ€™s official distributor in Azerbaijan.
The vehicle that set this new safety record is the Nissan compact crossover Qashqai. Autoliv Inc. - the worldwide leader in automotive safety systems - is the main supplier of the safety systems and has also assisted with the verifying performance testing. The Nissan Qashqai received almost maximum points in Euro NCAP’s strict front, side impact and pole crash tests.
Euro NCAPâ€™s small family car class has seen colourful results over the last year or so ranging from a two star strikethrough to some high scoring five star cars, but until the Qashqai no car had received a full rounded 37 points in the adult occupant protection rating.
To descibe the Nissan Qashqai is very difficult, because no other vehicle quite fits its mold, sometimes being descibed as a cross over vehicle, between a conventional MPV and a rugged 4x4. It is a small family car, that gives the feeling of plenty of space on the inside. Being higher off the ground than most conventional cars it gives the apperance of being bigger than it is.
