Serviceman died in bus accident named - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED - 1

Main State Traffic Police Office told APA that serviceman of the Defense Ministry's military unit, Commander Zulfigar Elkhan Aliyev died as “PAZ” overturned in a ravine.

Other wounded servicemen were taken to the hospitals in critical conditions.

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations issues statement on crash of bus carrying servicemen – UPDATED

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued statement on the crash of bus carrying servicemen.

APA reports quoting the Ministry's website that 112 hotline received call that bus overturned in a ravine in Shamkir region. The rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been immediately sent to the scene. According to initial reports, 7 people were injured and one died in the accident.

The Defense Ministry confirmed the fact to APA. The ministry's press service said that the investigation is underway on the fact.

Servicemen die and injured as bus overturns in Azerbaijan

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. A bus carrying servicemen overturned in Azerbaijan.

Main State Traffic Police Office told APA that the accident was recorded 4 km from Shamkir-Gedebey highway today.

“PAZ” carrying servicemen collided with "Toyota Land Cruiser" and overturned. A serviceman died, 4-5 of them were seriously injured in the accident. The injured were taken to Shamkir hospital.
