Revealed that woman who stole $60,000 from academicianâ€™s house in Azerbaijan was his servant

Baku. Fuad Jafarov – APA. Person, who stole a large sum of money from the house of academician yesterday in Azerbaijan, has been detained.

Baku city Main Police Office told APA that as a result of operational measures conducted by the Head Criminal Investigation of the Interior Ministry, Yasamal District Police Office Department and the Police Department #26, suspected of theft – Narmin Abbasova has been detained.

Note that, yesterday, Gajar Chingiz Oveys living in Alasgar Alekberov st. appealed to the Police Department #26 that the safe with $ 60 000, silver knives and forks had been stolen from his house on August 4 at about 13.30.

Gajar Chingiz Oveys is a full member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Doctor of physico-mathematical sciences, Professor, Director of the ANAS Institute of Physics.
