Baku. Fuad Jafarov – APA. A drunken foreigner gave false information to the police in Baku, APA reports quoting the Interior Ministry. The ministry’s “102 hotline” received call that British citizen William Rein’s laptop and AZN 50 were taken by unknown persons on August 9 at 03:50.
Employees of Nasimi District Police Office immediately arrived at the site, but they couldn’t interrogate him, because he was drunk.
Security of City Palace hotel, Baku resident Rufat Rahimov found a tablet and AZN 50 outside the hotel and gave them to the Police Office on that day at 17:30.
Rein confirmed that the money and tablet belong to him and didn’t complain.
