Baku. Fuad Jafarov - APA. One of the persons wounded in yesterday’s incident in Baku has been named.
Yasamal district police office told APA that some details were known after Agasif Karim Bakhishov, 27, the driver of the car that took the wounded away from the scene, was detained and the witnesses were interrogated.
The investigation has found out that resident of Yevlakh region Agil Adil Asgarov, 32, was knifed. The name of the hospital is not publicized.
The police office said they received information about the armed incident near Ag Chicheyim wedding palace. The police office was told that sounds of bullets were heard. Employees of Yasamal district prosecutor’s office were sent to the site. No evidence related to armed incident was found at the site.
The investigations have found out that brawl among a group of drunken persons caused the incident. Measures are being continued to identify the participants of the incident.
Criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
The incident happened at 18.30 near Ag Chicheyim wedding palace in Sherifzadeh street, Yasamal district. Police officers were immediately sent to the site. The persons at the site were interrogated.
According to witnesses, sounds of bullets were heard, after that two wounded men fled the scene.
Baku emergency medical aid station told APA that they were called to the Ag Chicheyim wedding palace. "The doctors saw two wounded persons there. But they got on a car and fled the scene."
