Number of servicemen died in Azerbaijan traffic accident reaches 5

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The number of the servicemen, who died in the traffic accident in Azerbaijan, has reached 5. Main State Traffic Police Office told APA that Ismiyev Elbey Adalat, who was injured and hospitalized, died there. The other injured servicemen are still in critical condition.

Criminal case has been launched on the traffic accident, investigation is underway. The accident happened in Guba region today. RAF microbus driven by serviceman of the Interior Troops Seymur Aliyev crashed. Consequently, the driver and extended servicemen of the Interior Troops Ayaz Bayramov, Rashad Adigozalov, Seymur Aliyev and Elmir Ismayilov died at the site.

The injured servicemen were hospitalized.

The injured servicemen are - 21-year-old Iskandarov Afgan Sharif, 27-year-old Mamamdov Fariz Elibey, 21-year-old Hasanov Elnur Maksim, Musayev Ruslan Sabir, Ismiyev Elbey Adalat, Isayev Namig Gahraman and Aghalizadeh Ismayil Behaleddin.

Mammadova announced the reasons of the accident: “The accident happened when the servicemen were going to work. The slippery road caused by rain and wheel failure caused the accident. Totally, 11 persons were in the car, 4 of them died. The other injured passengers were hospitalized.”
