The head of the Ministry of Defense’s “Rest House” has been detained, APA reports.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Military Prosecutor’s Office in connection with the incident.
Mayor Ilham Hagverdiyev was detained on bribery charges. He has been charged under Article 311 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.
A request has been submitted to the Baku Military Court to determine a preventive measure for Hagverdiyev, which will be reviewed by the court.

The Ministry of Defense’s Central Sanatorium, located in the village of Goredil in Absheron, is currently referred to as the “Rest House.”
