A court hearing has been held in the criminal case of Anar Asadli, chairman of the dissolved Rise (Yuksalish) Party, APA reports.
During the session chaired by Judge Elnur Nuriyev at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes, the victim filed a motion requesting the arrest of the accused.
Two victims filed a motion with the court requesting the arrest of Anar Asadli for failing to compensate the damage they had suffered.
The court granted the motion and Anar Asadli was arrested in the courtroom.
The next hearing has been scheduled for November 28.
Note that the party chairman is accused of committing fraud against four individuals. He has been charged under Article 178 (fraud) of the Criminal Code.
