Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Passing of Azerbaijani vehicles from Bilasuvar and Astara checkpoints to Iran was restored, the State Border Service told APA.
The Service officials said that yesterday the Iranian frontier guards restricted the movement of vehicles from Bilasuvar to Iran by crossing Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and from Astara to Iran. Despite the appeal of Azerbaijani side, they didn’t justify it.
The passing of vehicles from Azerbaijan to Iran has been restored today as a result of negotiations held by the Service. But there are still problems in passing of Azerbaijani trucks moving from Astara towards Iran. Azerbaijan holds negotiations with Iran for the solution of the above-mentioned problem till the end of the day.
