Baku – APA. Representatives of the Ombudsperson Office met imprisoned Arif Hajili in Penitentiary Service’s correctional facility №16 under the order of Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova. Press service of the Ombudsperson Office told APA that during the conversation with Hajili, he said that he has gone on hunger strike since May 15, 2012 and he had no health problem. At the same time, he didn’t complain about the treatment of employees of the facility and said that he wasn’t subjected to any threat.
During the conversation with the facility leadership, it was said that Hajili didn’t file about holding action.
Employees of the office tasked the physician of the facility to keep Hajili’s health under control
