APA reports that one law-enforcement officer was killed and three were wounded during the incident. From the opposite side, one died and two were wounded. The killed militant had explosives and therefore the experts were called to the site to deactivate it. The operation has not been finished yet.
The body of killed officer and wounded were brought to Baku by helicopter.
Gandja City Main Police Office told APA that the Ministry of National Security held an operation yesterday at 04.00 against the armed group, which was preparing to commit terrorist attack in Gandja.
Spokesperson for the National Security Ministry Arif Babayev confirmed the fact. No details were given.
