APA reports quoting the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations that the burning of the pasture and windy weather caused the spread of the fire. 200 firefighters and 14 vehicles, including three helicopters and a Be-200 amphibian aircraft were immediately sent to the site.
The nearby farms and forest strip were protected from the fire. According to the recent reports, the fire covers 700-800 ha area. Despite windy weather, the relevant forces of the ministry have prevented the fire and extinguishing measures are being continued.
