39 criminal groups consisting of 97 persons neutralized in Azerbaijani capital this year

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Baku City Main police Office made public the statistics of the criminal incidents recorded in the capital in the first half of 2011. the Office told APA that 5580 crime incidents were recorded in Baku during reporting period, 89.1% of them are less grave, 10.9% are grave and supersevere. 74.4% of crimes were solved. 39 criminal groups consisting of 97 persons who committed 3 robberies and 29 plundering, as well as 21 criminal groups consisting of 48 persons who committed the 33 apartment thefts were neutralized as a result on taken measures.

More than 129 kg drugs were found. The arrest of 394 from 734, as well as 58 wanted persons was ensured. 78 of detainees have committed the grave crimes.

The protection of public order was seriously controlled during the reporting period. 7 unauthorized rallies were prevented, the public order was ensured in the numerous mass events held in the city, as well as the ceremonies held on the arrival of high level guests.
