To him, today, in the morning hours the level of Sumgayitchay, which takes its beginning in Shamakhy region increased 4-5 cm in Pirakushkul village of Absheron district. As a result of it, the bridge over the river was damaged and 6 houses were flooded. Some electric poles turned over, the transformer became useless. Huseynov noted that the danger had left out, water level fell enough in the river: â€œThe flooded houses were cleared using internal means of the region. Water level has fallen in the river and the danger had left outâ€. Huseynov said that the cause of the flood was recent shower rains in Shamakhy region.

Note that, Sumgayitchay takes it beginning in Shamakhy region, runs through Absheron district and flows into the Caspian Sea. The length of the river is 198 km, river basin is 1751 square/km.
