Resident of Baku City Rafig Mammadov, 60 was killed during the funerals of his sister. Police arrested Yusif Hashimov, 26-year old resident of Tagiyev settlement of Sumgayit. Hashimov said he had killed Mammadov to revenge. The investigators identified that Yusif Hashimov’s father Alibala Hashimov was killed by Rafig Mammadov during the birthday celebrations of his son.
The prosecutor’s office launched a criminal investigation under the article 120.1 (deliberate murder) of the Criminal Code. The investigation is going on.
