The appointment of a new crown prince in Saudi Arabia took place before the eyes of the international community, Saudi ambassador to Azerbaijan Musaid Ibrahim Abdullah As-Suleym said in a statement to APA.

The ambassador said that Mohammed Bin Salman has replaced Mohammed bin Nayef.

"He was the deputy crown prince. This is a procedure specific for the state system of the country. There is nothing. Mohammed Bin Salman achieved a lot in the previous post. He developed the 2030 Concept of Future Development. The essence of this concept was to reduce the dependence of the country's economy on oil and increase profits at the expense of industrial products. 60 percent of the population of Saudi Arabia are youth. Mohammed Bin Salman too is young and energetic. He is going to keep up and perfect the work initiated by Mohammed ibn Nayef,” he said.
