Russian President congratulates Azerbaijani President on occasion of 28 May - Republic Day

The letter says:

“Dear Mr. President! I congratulate you on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s national holiday – Republic Day. Your country has gained great achievements on the way to the socio-economic, scientific-technical and cultural development. Azerbaijan’s active role in the international issues has been admitted by all. Russia-Azerbaijan relations are based on historical friendship and kind neighborhood traditions. I’m sure that with joint efforts we’ll ensure enhancement of our constructive political dialogue, practical cooperation in various spheres. Undoubtedly, this will pave the way for prosperity of our people, as well as regional stability and strengthening of security. I wish You robust health and welfare, prosperity to your country, happiness to your people”.

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, Japan Emperor Akihito and Italian President Giorgio Napolitano have also sent letters congratulations to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of 28 May – Republic Day.
