President Ilham Aliyev: â€œAzerbaijan-US partnership has left behind the trial period"

Baku – APA. A working lunch was given for a group of US Congressmen on behalf of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev on May 29, APA reports.

The Head of State expressed his confidence that friendship between our countries will continue successfully.

Underlining that partnership between Azerbaijan and the US have great historical traditions, President said there is mutual interest in the establishment of close cooperation between the countries.

Saying that Azerbaijan-US partnership has left behind the trial period, Head of State underlined that our countries are real and reliable friends.

President Aliyev expressed his confidence that the relations in various spheres, between the legislative and executive bodies will pave the way for further enhancement of bilateral relations.

Stressing that “Vision of the future” Azerbaijan-US forum is a new experience for the further development of relations, US senator Richard Lugar expressed his confidence that the friendship between the US and Azerbaijan will further strengthen.
