A panel session entitled “The internal and external policy of the United States” has been held as a part of the “Azerbaijan-US: Vision of the future” forum, APA reports. Panel speaker Jim Messina, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations under President Barack Obama, spoke about Obama’s election campaign in 2012 and his experience in this campaign.
Messina responded to the questions about the election system of the US, current domestic affairs, policy of migration, the role of social media and other topics. He noted the importance of the role of social media in political campaigns.
