Baku. Victoria Dementyeva – APA. “Neither Russia’s withdrawal from Gabala radar station, nor suspension of the transportation of Azerbaijani oil through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline have affected the bilateral relations between the two countries,” ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloghlu told journalists, APA reports.
“Nothing like this has happened, all of these are media reports. Russia is a strategic partner for Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister has recently paid an official visit to Russia and his meetings took place in a friendly atmosphere.”
According to Ambassador, invalidation of the agreement on the transportation of oil through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline is connected with purely economic reasons.
“This agreement favors neither Russia, nor Azerbaijan. If a problem appears in the relations with Russia, it is discussed constructively and solved,” he said.
