Abdullah Gul and Recep Tayyip Erdogan send letters of congratulations to Azerbaijani President

The letter says: “Dear Mr. President,

On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, it is with great pleasure that I convey heartfelt greetings and felicitations on my own behalf and on behalf of the People of Turkey to Your Excellency as well as to the people of the fraternal Azerbaijan.

Turkey and Azerbaijan are the countries with a common language, faith, culture, history and values and we sincerely wish to continue the strong friendship, fraternity and cooperation based on the “One People, Two States” motto in every field with Azerbaijan.

I am sure that Turkey and Azerbaijan will joi9ntly make efforts towards establishment of sustainable peace, security and stability in the Southern Caucasus that will open the new opportunities for both of the countries.

I wish You robust health and happiness and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan - sustainable peace and prosperity.”

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has congratulated Azerbaijani President and people on 28 May.

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, Slovenian President Borut Pahor have also sent letters of congratulations to Azerbaijani President on Republic day.
