The diplomatic corps' visit to Karabakh and East Zangezur continues, APA reports.
Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department, Hikmat Hajiyev, shared a video regarding the first day of his visit to the liberated territories with representatives of the diplomatic corps.
“1st Day of our visit to Shusha and Khankandi with the diplomatic corps. Now we are traveling to Agdara and Kalbajar,” he wrote.
Recall that a two-day visit of representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to Karabakh and East Zangezur, accompanied by Hikmat Hajiyev, has begun.
A delegation consisting of 150 people representing 58 countries and 9 international organizations is participating in the visit.
As part of the visit, representatives of the diplomatic corps will familiarize themselves with the social and economic infrastructure projects implemented within the framework of the large-scale restoration, reconstruction and development process carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in the cities of Khankendi and Shusha and the Aghdara and Kalbajar districts, as well as the current state of historical and cultural heritage sites and the measures taken to protect and restore them.
This is the 22nd visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps to the liberated territories since 2020.
