The second day of the visit of foreign diplomatic representatives to Karabakh and East Zangezur, accompanied by Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, has begun, APA's correspondent dispatched to Karabakh reports.
A delegation consisting of 150 people representing 58 countries and 9 international organizations is participating in the visit.
As part of the visit, representatives of the diplomatic corps will familiarize themselves with the social and economic infrastructure projects implemented within the framework of the large-scale restoration, reconstruction, and development process carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in the Aghdara and Kalbajar districts, as well as the current state of historical and cultural heritage sites and the measures taken to protect and restore them.
Note that this is the 22nd visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps to the liberated territories since 2020.
