US President Donald Trump reiterated his plans to end the war against Iran immediately after the November congressional elections, while not ruling out a tougher Washington approach to the conflict if the Republicans lose, APA reports.
"The war will end immediately after the midterm elections," he said in an interview with Fox News.
Journalist Laura Ingraham asked for clarification on whether this would happen whether the Republicans win or lose. "I think many people believe that if we lose, I'll be even more angry and just take it and deal with it. That's also an option. Either way, they will lose," the US President responded.
