First day of diplomatic corps’ visit to Karabakh and East Zangezur ends

The first day of the visit by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to Karabakh and East Zangezur has concluded, APA reports.

In accordance with the visit program, the diplomats visited several locations in the cities of Khankendi and Shusha, and familiarized themselves with the ongoing restoration and construction work as well as the newly established infrastructure.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps first inspected the work being carried out at the Khankendi Railway and Bus Terminal Complex. Participants were briefed on the activities undertaken at the complex.

Subsequently, the delegation visited the Culture Center in Khankendi. There, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, welcomed the participants of the visit.

The diplomats visited "Victory" Park and took a commemorative photo in front of the Victory Arch.

The visit also included a tour of Karabakh University. The delegation was briefed on the facilities established at the university and the activities of the higher education institution.
