Baku. Ramil Mammadlii – APA. The delegation led by Thomas Melia, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor has met with the leaders of some Azerbaijani opposition parties.
Citizen and Development Party (CDP) told APA that the US diplomats concerned themselves with the political situation in Azerbaijan, discussions were held on this issue. The upcoming presidential elections were also discussed at the meeting.
Chairman of Citizen and Development Party Ali Aliyev, chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP) Ali Karimli, chairman of Musavat Party Isa Gambar, head of “El” Movement Eldar Namazov and co-chair of REAL Movement Erkin Gadirli attended the meeting.
