U.S. to cut aid to Azerbaijan by $ 778 000 more next year

The amount of aid to be allocated to Azerbaijan has been cut by $ 778 000 more, compared to 2013, APA reports quoting the website of the U.S. Department of State.



While 2013 draft budget envisaged allocation of $16 330 000 million to Azerbaijan, this figure will be $ 15 555 000 in 2014. $ 11 029 000 of the aid is economic aid, $ 1 226 000 is for fighting against drugs and aid to law enforcement bodies, $ 600 000 is designated for international military trainings and education, $ 2 700 000 for foreign military aid.


The U.S. will allocate $ 30 843 000 to Armenia ($ 36 608 000 in 2013) and $ 60 775 000 to Georgia ( $ 68 700 000 in 3013) in 2014.
