Secretary General: â€œIt is a legitimate request from Azerbaijan to review the mandate of OSCE Office in Bakuâ€ - <span style="color: red;">EXCLUSIVE

Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. “Every OSCE member state and every host country of the field operation has especial role in defining of that field operation. So it is a legitimate request from Azerbaijan to review the mandate,” OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier told to APA’s Moscow correspondent.

Secretary General said there are discussions in Vienna now: “Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Mammadyarov was in Vienna last week and were discussions on this issue. I really hope that we can come quickly to an agreement. Because obviously it is a consensus issue. Azerbaijan has a right to request a review of the mandate of OSCE Office in Baku, but everybody will have to agree. From my perspective, I hope, that it results in constructive solution and we can continue a good work we have been doing so far in Baku.”
